Creekside High School Triumphs at the 2024 Admiral Jonathan T. Howe Academic WorldQuest

In February, the team "Iran to First Place" from Creekside High School lived up to their name, clinching victory at the 19th annual Admiral Jonathan T. Howe Academic WorldQuest competition. Council Announces 2024-25 Board Fellows

The World Affairs Council of Jacksonville is proud to introduce and welcome our 2024-25 Board Fellows: Emma Markle and Camm Potter. Emma Markle is a junior political science and international studies major at the University of North Florida. Camm Potter is a senior political science major at the University of North Florida. Council Announces 2024 Ambassador Marilyn McAfee Scholarship Recipients

Yet, while many desire to study abroad and expand their worldview, cost is often a deterrent. This is where the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville’s Ambassador Marilyn McAfee Scholarship comes into play. The Ambassador Marilyn McAfee Scholarship is awarded each year to undergraduate and graduate students with outstanding academic performance and career aspirations in international business, public policy, foreign affairs, or military service.
