The GeoGuessr Global Challenge is an immersive, competitive geography tournament designed to engage Great Decisions students across Northeast Florida. Hosted in the University of North Florida’s cutting-edge Esports Lab, the event combines global learning with digital play, encouraging geographic literacy, critical thinking, and international curiosity through an interactive format.

When and Where: This year’s competition will take place on April 2, 2027 from 5:30-8:30 PM at the University of North Florida Flight Deck, located in the Student Union (Student Union, 1 UNF Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32224).

How to Play? Students will be competing individually in rounds. All rounds will be played using the GeoGuessr game. Mini challenges will be scattered throughout the tournament testing additional geography and history skills and knowledge. This tournament is not affiliated with or sponsored by GeoGuessr.

Students from Great Decisions schools will be prioritized as we have limited space. Email rachel@worldaffairscounciljax.org if you would like to register some students.
