Council EDGE provides an opportunity for young professionals (ages 21-40) to develop a greater understanding of the world while connecting with others who share an interest in international affairs.
Mentorship Program
By pairing our young professional members with members of our Board of Directors and Advisory Council, we’re fostering the next generation of leadership for Northeast Florida. After an application process and interviews, mentors and mentees spend nine months developing a long-lasting relationship through group and individual outings, including attending select World Affairs Council events.
Applications for the 2026-2027 season are available starting June 22, 2026, and are due no later than August 7, 2026.
Leading EDGE Dialogues
Hosted by our young professionals (but open to all our members), Leading EDGE Dialogues integrate social gatherings with expert discussions so that our members can stay on the cutting edge of global issues that impact today and tomorrow. These evening dialogues feature a reception for networking followed by a presentation and dialogue.
Council Connections
Hosted each quarter, Council Connections are opportunities for Council EDGE members to dialogue with Council Board, Advisory Council and community leaders, discussing the issues of the day and professional development.
